The Reference Power Cord

The reason we call this power cord the "Reference" is due to the fact when comparing it to over 50 different power cords, it was the one that all were compared to.  It was not just compared, but all were compared to it.  The "Reference" was at the top of the list.  So we proudly introduce: The "Reference" power cord.

When listening to over 50 power cords, you learn to listen and hear things that you are not use to.  One can be good or bad.  After the Reference was auditioned, we went back and listened to all the other power cords and everyone of them was compared to the Reference.  We have many customers who owned very expensive power cords, current models that have the best reviews, and they are now using the TEK LINE "Reference".

We can't say much more than the "Reference" is the Power Cord others will be compared to.  At just $795 limited time factory direct, you can not, I mean CAN NOT, get a better power cord for the price.  We guarantee it.

What does it do that's so good?  Just read a few of the reviews below.

With additional time to settle in with the Reference, my system has the most clarity and resolution to date. The Reference power cord has refined the presentation and taken it to another sonic level. "Reference" is an appropriate name for this power cord. I have to say it's the best I've had. Excellent power cord, balanced top to bottom.

Change this      )&*(&^*^(*&_&%$^%^$%$%&$&%%%^^**********************************************

After years of enjoying audio and believing that I had tried almost everything I could; like changing equipment, racks, speaker stands, interconnects, speaker wire, tweaks, and almost anything else to try.  I thought I had tried it all.  I was finally convinced by another audiophile that I should try his power cord.   He knew that I would never spend hundreds and a "power cord" so he loaned me his.  Since all power cords do is supply power I really didn't think they would make any really true improvement; you either have power or you don't.  Sure, you don't want to use an 18 gauge zip cord on a high current power amp, but spending hundreds to power one piece of equipment, that sounded nuts to me.  Well to make a long story short as possible, I was hooked.  I started trying and buying many power cords.  Some were priced like I thought they should be, $50 to $100.  But those just didn't do what I had heard prior.  I found a few decent $200 to $500 power cords on the used market and thought I could get away with those.  Then I thought I went bezerk (      **********         ) and purchased power cords that had a retail of $2500 to $7000.  I thought I had lost it.  I put  back in the less expensive power cords that I still had in my closet and I couldn't believe what I was hearing.  It seemed as if the sound system had half power.  Everything was sounding so bad, but it was still better then before I even started using after market power cords.  I couldn't believe that I thought I had a great system a year ago with stock power cords.  I had to put the expensive power cords back in my system and had to purchase a few more.  With most of these power cords costing me somewhere between $1000 to $2800 I was really estatict to hear from the same audiophile that he had found a small power cord company and that I deserved it to myself to listen to them.  I ordered one just to please him.  The power cord was the TEK LINE Reference power cord.  I was amazed at what that power cord did for my preamp, that I had to order one to try on my amp just to make sure it wasn't a fluke.  Now I have 6, (yes, six) of the TEK LINE Reference power cords in my system.  After purchasing the six and selling off my other expensive power cords I put around $3000 back in my pocket and had a better sounding system then I did prior to the purchase.  All I can tell you is that you don't need a great power cord or think you have a great power cord, you owe it to yourself as I did to myself to try the TEK LINE Reference.

Scott, just to let you know.  I have been a believer of power cords for years and have tried to convince my comrades that power cords do make a difference.  It has been hard, but when they tried the Reference in their system, they couldn't believe it.  They just didn't understand.  They thought something else was changed, not just a power cord.  They should be ordering from you soon.  Thanks again for such a great power cord.

Just a quick note, great power cord.  How do you do it?

I have used all the top name brands, (Synergistic Research, ElectaGlide, DCCA, Lessloss, Elrod, Cardas, Dream State, Shunyata, NBS, Nordost and more).  I have to say that your new power cords give them all a run for their money.  The Micro Reference was a surprise, much more of a power cord than a lot of the others at only $399, much more than I expected.  The Micro Reference Xtream was even a bigger surprise.  I have to say that I was so happy with the Micro Reference Xtream that I thought I didn't need to look any further.  I would have been most satisfied with the Micro Reference Xtream in my system and would have just said that is it with power cords, no need to look any further.  Then comes the Reference.  That is a different story.  I have to say that I was not expecting to hear what I did.  How can I explain it, the Reference just opened up my system and made it so easy to listen to, I just relaxed and my system came to life.  The lows were low, the highs were high, the soundstage came to life.  I thought that I was in audio heaven.  This power cord was so much more than I expected.  The realm of reality came true and I can hear things that I have never heard before in my system.  The Reference is truly an amazing power cord.  I have to say that it will be in my system for a very long time.
